Dr. McIlwain is double board-certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and head and neck surgery. He treats patients with benign and malignant tumors of the mouth, throat, skin, sinuses, thyroid and skull base. He specializes in facial plastic reconstructive surgery, including microvascular free tissue transfer, of all defects of the head and neck, including acquired defects from Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal. He also specializes in maxillofacial trauma and rhinoplasty.
